Meet Miranda (she/her)

Monet and Miranda men when Miranda hired her to document her third birth. They connected deeply over Miranda’s journey as a mother and birth worker. Miranda ended up training with Monet and Birth Becomes You as both a birth photographer and a doula.

In 2025, Monet officially brought Miranda onto her team. Miranda brings a grounded, peaceful presence into the birth space, along with her ability to capture the depth of emotion. By working so closely together, Monet is able to ensure that whenever a back-up photographer/doula is needed…her clients still receive the highest quality of care and documentation.

Hi, I’m Miranda—a birth and storytelling photographer, doula, and lover of all things raw and real. Based in Denver, I support families through some of the most transformative moments of their lives. My work honors the power, vulnerability, and beauty of birth, blending calm presence with deep respect for every story.

Monet photographed the birth of my daughter, and that experience changed everything. It led me to train under her as a doula—and now, I’m honored to serve as her associate and backup doulatog. Supporting her clients feels like a full-circle gift I don’t take lightly.

When I’m not at a birth or behind the camera, I’m chasing kids and reheating my coffee for the third time. I also love to dig in the dirt with kids and try new food spots with my husband!
